P.J. O'Brien’s Open for Business.

ON the 14th of March, as was promised to our client, Paul Brookes Constructions (our former business name) handed back P.J. O'Brien’s to the PJ'S management team so the pub could open for its biggest trading day of the year St Patricks Day. The new floors got their final coat of polish, the newly fit kitchen and brand new toilets were put to the test on possibly the toughest day of the year that the establishment faces with an enormous amount of people and partiers joining the celebration. It was a job that went down to the wire with some very tight programming and some outstanding efforts from everyone involved, from our subcontractors right thru to the PJS kitchen staff.

St Pat’s day was a resounding success as reported by their management and well worth the extra effort to make sure the Guinness was flowing on the only day of the year an Irish Pub should never be shut.

We continue work on a new out-door dining structure for the pub which is being built in tangent with the council works to the mall. This out-door structure is sure to boost the outdoor experience of the place and lure even more curious patrons into the unique pub.

We’ll keep you posted on the progress of this one.
