Pier Bar

Over the past ten years Paul Brookes Constructions has carried out 2 major refurbishments of this iconic cairns establishment. The first refurbishment in 2004 was an ultra-modern fit out which was a knock down and rebuild of the Original Iconic Pier Tavern Pub.  This involved a complete rebuild of the bar and kitchen and staff quarters.

The second most recent refurbishment carried out in 2014 was an 85% knock down and rebuild to create a completely refreshed floor plan.  This included deck extensions and some new works to the kitchen.

Both refurbishments were carried out under very tight timelines and carefully planned budgets.  They were conducted on a Construction management basis and the designers included MMP Architects and Interni Architects in Melbourne.
